Unemployment rate jumps

Unemployment rate jumps to 9.8% now. Sadly, that means there is no recovery. This is so serious. What is the reason? Perhaps, we are going into a double dip depression or recession. Corporations are cutting back on crew. They are trying to save our ss america. Unfortunately, our ship is sinking and this economy is going down not up.
