What is going on?

Today, the DOWn jones industrial average closed below 10,000 now. This is just horrible news. According to economists we were going to have the dow go over 15,ooo and rise. However, what we see is a downward spiral as if our economy is in a tail spin. What I see is that we are heading for a crash soon. My prediction is financial armageddon and that is coming.
