There are many things that take place in the future, but most make little sense now. Well, for example, interracial marriage was illegal in the 50's. Few people who were alive then can explain why this is. It is like we all have a collective amnesia. However, laws were obeyed by most of the population and they were designed to separate races. What we see now is a melting pot process.
