What will the future be like?

OK in a few years, we will reach a tipping point in energy. It will cost more energy to get oil out of a well that is generates for us. Folks, this day is not that far away. Please being to prepare. Basically, people ask the question - What will the future be like?  Ahhh, um, here is my answer. Lack of power, that can happen, but we will probably make more scientific breakthroughs in the days to come.
