World rubbish dump

World's biggest rubbish dump is in the middle of the pacific ocean and is twice the size of the continental US. It is in the pacific gyre and contains tons of floating plastic garbage. All this trash comes from waste of an industrial society. This garbage patch is an oceanfill; basically a landfill on open water.
