SUV sales down

GM is having trouble selling the big SUV now that gas is closing in on $5/gal. They pushed SUV trucks instead of hybrids talk about a fatal mistake. Well, now the SUV trucks rust in the car lots and GM is on the way down. Losing 39 billion dollars last year was nothing, I expect a bailout package for GM soon.

I predict a rough road ahead for US automakers. In 1970, the biggest employer was GM and average wage was $19.50, but in 2008 the biggest employer is Wallmart and the average wage is $6.50 so things are getting worse by the minute.
